Fork Damper Rod Holding Tool

This tool is used to hold the damper rod still in forks when dismantling, so that the bottom bolt can be undone. Once the bottom bolt, usually a cap screw, is released the fork stanchions can be remoced from the bottom slider. This tools is commonly used on various KX, Z and KZ Kawasaki models.

The back takes a 1/2" drive socket bar.

The cone is from 15 - 26mm. The round boss is 36mm in diameter.

Before ordering this tool please compare the above measurements with your forks

eg: This is not suitable for the 70's Z1/Z650 series bikes whose forks are 36mm outside diameter
