Emergency Tyre Repair Kit for Tubeless Tyres

This compact kit contains everything you need to repair a puncture in a tubeless tyre in an emergency. Whilst people do repair tyres and ride round on them until totally worn out, we would suggest that is meaness taken too far. These repairs will get you safely home and to somewhere to have the tyre replaced. We would never advise riding on repaired tyres. The little cylinders will inflate the tyre to get you to a garage where you should inflate the tyre to the correct pressure. The tyre is repaired without removing from the wheel.

Ralph had the misfortune to try one out himself on the M5 recently. It worked a treat, which is why we are now confident to offer these for sale. These make a far better repair than the aerosol emergency tyre repairs, though they are more difficult to use. We at Biker's Toolbox are very impressed with these kits and we all now carry them on our on all our bikes that have tubeless tyres. They take up less space than aerosols.

Light Alloy Angle Tyre Valves

How fed up do you get trying to get the airline in a garage on your tyre valve? It used to drive me bonkers. When I got my Triumph Sprint 1050 ST it came standard with angled tyre valves! On every bike I owned since then, that had tubeless tyres, I fitted theTriumph tyre valves to! They aren't cheap from Triumph, but are worth every penny! Recently a couple of my suppliers have woken up to the need and are selling alloy tyre valves which look to me to be exactly the same as th egenuine Triumph one, but are quite a bit cheaper! Thay look loads better than standard tyre valves and are lighter ... win, win, win!! They're a piece of cake to fit, just don't over tighten them! We show how to fit them in the tyre fitting video.

Even if you don't fancy fitting your own tyres, you can give them to the tyre fitter and tell him to fit then for you. They are available in two sizes 8.3mm and 11.3mm.

Angled Tyre Valve Extenders

In our opinion these should be supplied under the seat of any motorcycle sold, that doesn't have angled tyre valves as standard. How many times have you fought with an air line in a garage trying to get it on the valve and ended up ruining the threads on your tyre valve? We discovered this product a few years ago and have one under the seat of all our bikes, just in case. You shouldn't leave them on the valve permanently as that will unbalance your wheel, but they are a God send! You need to remove them swiftly as they will let out a tiny amount of air as they come on and off. We usually put an extra pound or two in to compensate.
