This excellent, well made professional tool has a bracket that is clamped in a bench vice and is used to compress the main spring in mordern forks so that the fork top can be unlocked from the damper rod. This tool makes fork servicing a one man job. We have bought one of these for our own wqorkshops and are extremely impressed.
