These tie down anchors have loads of uses. As bike benches rarely have enough, if any, tie down points, we always fit a number of these on our benches. Before these came on the market we used 'U' bolts, but they were always getting in the way when not in use. When not being used the tie on point is easily removed, leaving an unobtrusive anchor point. They can also used inthe back ov vans or in trailers to tie down bikes. Please be carefull not to ratchet against the quick release mechanism at an angle. These anchors are great but care must be used. They are smaller than I thought they would be, but they have the levereage and cutting power of anything bigger. An asset to the toolbox, thanks.
It sprays chemicals from its bottle and doesn't leak. It comes in a handy plastic bag and as I bought four, some will be clean until I use them.
It comes in a clever box, with the software separate. The instructions are clear and precise, and I'll be using it in a week or so on my GPZ900r.
