One great advantage of fitting your own tyres is that you know that you have buffed the new tyre before setting off down the road. Any professional tyre fitter SHOULD buff new motorcycle tyres, but in our experience not so many do.
Just pour some solvent on a coarse bit of clean rag and scrub the tyre all the way around before fitting to your bike. It only takes a few minutes of vigorous scrubbing and you will be able to feel that the tyre feel much grippier.
This isn't an alternative to scrubbing the new tyre in, but it certainly makes it much safer. for the initial ten or twenty miles, especially in the wet .
Comes in 1 litre metal bottle.

Perfect for tidying up my 1973 Yamaha trail bikes wiring
Used this for bleeding ABS unit BMW K1200s 2005. You can do some basic bleeding by just topping up the 4 reservoirs as you bleed, but you need to get quite a volume of brake fluid going through the ABS systems before all pockets of air are flushed through. The funnel end screwed in ok but didn't seat well and all the fluid leaked out initially. Problem resolved using lots of PTFE tape tightly wound round the rubber ring section that is supposed to act as a seal. This worked very well. I give 5 stars as I would say it is impossible to bleed all the complicated ABS /SERVO unit without this tool and it worked well in the end. Advise not putting too much fluid in initially when testing the seal, as if it leaks all contents will descend onto the ABS unit, then to the floor.
Ordered this for shipping to Australia & was happy with the time it took to arrive (albeit shipping from the UK to AU is expensive). The tool itself is good quality & works well.
Only used the set a couple of times so far but it appears to be good quality and the low profile feature has already been useful. The offer price made it excellent value for money
A good quality, easy to use crimp tool.
It looks a bit flaky but actually works really well, I had no trouble reassembling my 1951 Douglas.
Using for rewiring 1968 Triumph. Good upgrade from original.
Fuel hose was good quality. However I didn’t realise they were package and not cut from a reel. I ordered 2 meters thinking it would be one continuous length but instead got 2 packets with 1 meter in each.
A whole in one brake bleed kit making life easier, used and it works, I know, surprised most don’t, but this kit actually does work and at a great price, recommend shop at the biketoolbox, this is one a many many great tools. Thanks.
Ordered a special tool, was described correctly and dispatch very fast very easy to do with NO issues would highly recommend 👌
Nice piece of kit . Well made . Good price . Always buy from BT
