With this tool you can easily dismantle shock absorbers to restore them. Many good quality shocks can be restored, for instance you can buy a kit to replace all the seals etc in Marzocchi Strata shocks. You can repaint or re-chrome the bodies and springs making a much nicer restoration than fitting modern units.
